Booked the travel plans for the first trip today. Sad to say but I will be flying on mostly Airbus planes. Yikes! How did that happen? No matter what route you take, it is a loooooong trip. Itinerary involves driving from Brindisi, Italy to Naples, Italy on Friday afternoon the end of the first week. So, I will get my indoctrination into Italian driving right away. On top of that, the only car I could rent is a manual transmission! This should be very interesting.
Got the International Driver's permit today and received some excellent travel goodies from my manager who has been to Italy several times.
No sooner did I get the arrangements booked I found out there is a possibility of the plans for the second week changing. Oh well, I am pretty sure one of the important lessons I will learn from this whole adventure is to stay flexible and just roll with the flow.
Welcome to our Blog!

8000 miles away!
The town where I will be working is Pomigliano di Arco, 18 km outside Naples. Many people live in and around Naples and commute to the plant. I don't know what we will do yet, have to get there and see it and figure out how to get around.
